Pues eso, no estoy muerto.

He ignorado completamente lo del concurso, me han llegado un par de correos al respecto, pero no los he leído, ni he hecho publicidad, ni nada de nada.

He tenido cosas más importantes que hacer.

De entrada, ya he hecho los exámenes de mis AS-levels. Ahora estoy trabajando a tope para mis A2.

Esto me ha dado la oportunidad de pasar diez días en Fuengirola, en Málaga, solo, estudiando. Una experiencia inolvidable. Me tomé dos días de turismo, separados, uno lo dediqué a Gibraltar y el otro a Málaga ciudad y a Fuengirola.

Ha habido problemas médicos con un familiar cercano, que aunque al principio pintaban muy mal, parece ser que se van a solucionar con éxito.

Recibí mi decision letter de Cambridge. Me pusieron en la pool, es decir, me dijeron que no me podían hacer una oferta por falta de plazas, pero que creían que tenía nivel, así que me metían en una bolsa de solicitudes inter-colegial, a ver si alguno me cogía. No ha habido suerte, y ninguno me ha cogido, pero aún así estoy muy satisfecho de haber llegado hasta aquí. No me lo esperaba, y como era consciente de la debilidad de mi solicitud, me ha sorprendido llegar tan lejos.

Y bastantes más movidas, pero éstas ya a un nivel más íntimo.

Vienen meses difíciles, apenas postearé. Pero bueno.

Supongo que lo tengo más fácil, ahora. Desde Reyes, soy el feliz dueño de una BlackBerry. Debo decir que dicho aparato cambia la vida de una persona, aunque la gente no se lo crea.

I'm not dead.

I have completely ignored the contest thing. I have received a couple of e-mails about it, but have not read them, to be honest. I haven't bothered to advertise the whole thing, either.

I've been up to more important things.

First of all, I have already sat my AS-level exams. Now I'm cramming to death for my A2.

This has given me the chance of spending ten days in Fuengirola, near Málaga, on my own, revising and sitting exams. Such an unforgettable experience. I spent two days doing tourism, one in Gibraltar and the other one in Fuengirola and the city of Málaga.

There have been some serious problems with a close relative. It seems everything's going to be all right, but at the beginning it didn't seem it would evolve well.

I received my decision letter from Cambridge. I got pooled. I didn't get a place in the end, but at least I got pooled. With my weak application I didn't expect to get this far, to be honest.

And more personal stuff I'm sure you won't be interested in.

Hard and busy times come ahead, but we'll cope. I'll hardly post, though.

I guess I have it easier, now. Since Christmas I'm the happy owner of a BlackBerry. These devices change your life, even though people don't believe it.
